Frenchen & Bergheim

Today was a road day. Our itinerary plans are to visit Cologne tomorrow so we drove to Frenchen which is a suburb of Cologne. We decided not to attempt driving in Cologne. Also, because have a vehicle we need access to parking. Frenchen is an industrial suburb and the area we are in seems to stores related to construction and home furnishings. We explored one of the stores which was four floors. The Europeans certainly have interesting design features.

We did a short road trip to Bergheim. This is a somewhat sleepy small town. Some interesting buildings. We stopped for a beer at a pub which seemed to be the local watering hole. It was pretty noisy due to the soccer fans.
