Last day of Wacken!!!

hello all! hope all is well is oz land, australia who?? :D haha just joking

im practically turning german, ive befriended a group of locals who aree making it their challenge to teach me as much german as possible NB so far it has consisted mainly of swearwords and insults, but hey, it suits me :D

Yesterday was the best day ever!!!!it was the first main day of the festival, woke up early, had the first shower ive had since being here (cost $5 too!!!) and had breakfast, fluffed around for a while until the bands started at 11am. The vibe was awesome!! everyone pissed as farts by 11am, its always beer o#clock here. Ive been drinking a local spirit Korn with koola (cola)...i dont even know what the stuff is!!?? and the germans cant even translate.

we headed down to the beer garden at abut 11.30. met a random pommy guy, and this 15 year old kid from israel and we all hung out and got pissed and im working on my killer tan (sadly only upper body, pants are a must here) the first band we saw was called wintersun, a full viking metal band, was fantastic!!! quite early in te afternoon tho, so not incredile crowd interaction. We fluffed around getting pisseder for a few hours and then i ponced off by myself coz i like mosh pits and the others dnt so i went and watched a band called opeth from sweden, melodic death metal nband. Awesome band but sadly they only played their mellow songs, and only one heavy song, so i was slight disappointed. After that i headed over to the party stage and watched a viking metalish band caled Korpiklaani. The crowd was so thick, i started out at the back, and the crowd was awesome, fuly getting into it coz they were mostly scandinavan in the crowd. I managed to get to the second row, so insane coz im a foot shorter than anyone else so it gets hard to breathe specially when crowd surfers fall on your head haha eveyone who came out of that mosh after the band finished looked like they had just had a shower in their clothes.

After that i raced back to the tents and had a quick refresher (skulled water, brushed hair, deodorant hahaha) then i headed back down by myself to watch children of bodom. i met up with one of my germans on the way and we managed to smash ur way through the crowd (of 30 000 people remember) to about the 8th row. was fun, but there were too many crowd surfers so we went further back to watch. At this time it was about 11pm, after that band we went back and hung out at the german camp intending to watch a band later at 2am, but we fell asleep, ooops. Anyways, time run out, gotta go, today will be great so many good bands!! will keep u updated, byes!!! xoxoxoxox
