Spa time!

JULY 30

We started the day off with an espresso, a cafe creme and a delectable croissant... then glorious pretzle-bun sandwhiches for second breakfast during the drive to Baden-Baden. We once again were able to check in early (to our sweet room in a 300 year old traditionall timber frame building), and explored the town. We enjoyed a couples massage and thermal baths (Hanna's bday present from Bryan) at the Carcalla spa, which repaired our tired bodies but also tuckered us out! We had a Czech-German dinner of gulash, weisswurst, dumlings, and salad and are now writing this while drinking a Bordeaux that we bought in Strasbourg for 6.50 Euros (but rivals any $50 red in B.C.).

Bryan and Hanna I have thoroughly enjoyed reading what you have written so far in your blog. What a wonderful trip you two are having I am so happy for you two it is well deserved :) A couples massage sounds fun not to mention the bath...I am not familiar with other currency BUT yay for the red wine!!
