Black Forest Germany - Where to visit

Hi,

We are planning to visit the Black Forest region of Germany in June 2011 and would like to understand what towns we should visit. We intend to spend nine nights in the Black Forest region and intend travelling around by hire car as we would like to visit many of the towns. We would like to visit the Neuschwanstein Castle. We will be heading from Paris by train, any idea's on where we should catch the train to to start our trip from? We are from Australia, and while i have been to Germany before i have never been to this region. I really want to enjoy the atmospehere of great little picturesque towns in the mountains while drinking great german beer and eating amazing food. I really do appreciate any feedback you can give.
