We left Nuremberg about 10.30 am and after a comfortable 5hr train trip arrived in Berlin about 330.
We then caught a local train to a next door suburb and it was a couple of blocks walk to our hotel.
Managed to walk past the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedachniskirche a church which was bombed in the 2nd
World war and is left that way as a memorial.
Up through the huge park the Tiergarten, past the impressive Reichstag(parliament) and over to
The Brandenburg Gate at sunset, that was pretty impressive. Then we caught the subway and train
Back to Charlottenburg where we stay.
It's a big city here, better try not to get lost.
