My Second Youth Meeting

Last night I went to my second Youth meeting in Germany. Ellie and I started chilli con carne during Teenies, and we went out to play volleyball afterward. We played one game with random teams and another game girls v. guys. Before we finished the second game, we went in to check on the chilli. There were 14 people there in total, which is more than we expected. We had enough food though, so YAY!

Ellie and I led a Bible study on Psalm 139:6-16. The group was a little rowdy, but Louisa did a good job translating, and we had some good conversation. We talked about what it means to be alone, how we can't be away from God, and God knows everything there is to know. Then we brought up the point that even though God knows us so well, God loves us.

After Bible study, we sat around talking and laughing. Many cheesy knock-knock jokes were told, and we spent a lot of time explaining "Your Mom" jokes to one another. They also tried to scare us with the popping nose trick, and I did it right back. Ellie had never seen it before, but after a while, we explained it to her.

It got pretty late, and a window got broken, so we wrapped up and went home. I slept pretty darn good last night! = )
