We arrived safely in Germany yesterday greeted by lots of snow! Havent seen much of that this year! We enjoyed it so much that we decided it would be fun to get the car stuck in a snowbank and spend 30 minutes pushing it out. After some teamwork and a borrowed shovel we were able to get out and mad it safely to our destination for the evening, the Folklorehof Inn in Gruena. It iss absolutely gorgeous here...a quaint little tudor style Inn with an outdoor Christmas Market right outside in the courtyard. We had a fantastic dinner at the restuarant last night. For an appetizer we had beef carpaccio (more raw meat...seems to be a trend here!) and for dinner I had cauliflower and roasted potatoes with hollandaise sauce and Ralf enjoyed venison. We topped the night off with a traditional glass of Gluehwein, hot spiced red wine.
