Wow, I have my things and even got a new toy...
Well howdy from Germany!!

I know it has been four thousand days since I have written, but hey a girl gets busy. OK lets get everyone up to speed. This is what has been happening for the last 2 months in Germany. We moved into our house and got our stuff!! Thank goodness. We have the entire house pretty much set up besides the little things. For example hanging pictures, putting together our office, etc.. Things like that. We actually had to buy more furniture because our house is a lot bigger than the one in MD. Once the weather turned nice, we put our house stuff aside and started traveling. Erol, (Kenan's Brother and I must say the coolest brother-in-law possible) visited us from Iraq. It was a fun visit. While Kenan was wasting away earning our income, Erol and I toured around to different towns. Hey somebody has to see where everything is.. and I gladly volunteer for that job! Sorry Kenan 😞 So Erol and I went and visited Heidelberg. It was beautiful! There is a castle with the most wonderful view.
Side note: to get to the castle you have to walk up a hill that

Amazing what you can play with when you have nothing!!
I am not joking, has a 45 degree slant.. humm with little man in a stroller, this was not so much fun. Erol and I had to take a break. Let me set the scene: Erol carrying two massive cameras and pushing a stroller with Joshua, who weights 27 lb.. Can you stay breaking a sweat!! So we stopped because we were out of breath, not sure why I was, I was carrying myself. Humm note to self get into shape! As we stopped we were getting passed by a lot of really loud Italian students, who had no problem going up the crazy hill. Stupid youth! So we finally made it and took great pictures. I suggest everyone who comes to Germany to go to Heidelberg!

To get away and go see Kenan's family we traveled to Istanbul, Turkey for a long weekend. It was great to see the family. It was their first time to see Joshua. They fell in love with him the moment they saw him. We were also able to see some sites while we were there. We visited Sultan Ahmet and Hagia Sofia. Things were wonderful, until we got on the plane to

come home. Then my fantastic son turned into the Devil. We were "those people" who had the crying baby for 1 1/2 hours. Then he finally fell a sleep and all was great in the world. Thank goodness its only an 3 1/2 hr flight!!

Kathy my mother-in-law came for a visit while on spring break. It was great to have somebody in the house besides Joshua during the day. One can only talk so much to a 16month old. While on her visit Joshua decided to get 6th disease. For all of you who don't know what that is let me explain. It is were a child runs a really high temp. around 103-105 for 3 days and then breaks out into a full body rash! Poor baby! Poor Mama! Crying baby= no sleep. So to say the least we didn't do much her week here. But thankfully she was hear a few weeks early and we visited Oberwessel. To add to the crazy spring break week, Mother nature decides she is bored and wants to add some excitement by creating a Volcano in Iceland! For everyone who was not flying this was fine. Those including Kathy trying

to get back home, it was bad news. But hey she got to spend some days with her grandson who was not sick anymore! Yeah!!

Last weekend, we visited Strasbourg, France! Yes we went to France for the day. What an amazing city. We had lunch beside the Notre Dame Cathedral, walked all around the city and took 300 pictures. What a great day. Hopefully the weather keeps up and we can travel more. Talk to y'all soon!
