Get on it Noah!
This is Noah. He is having a great time. What is he doing? Exactly what I asked when we were at this club! haha! I'm gonna miss you Noah! Good Day! So I have been VERY busy trying to close things here at the end of my excursion in Germany. But before I dish out all my stress, let me tell you about last Friday night. It was definitely the most fun I have had since I have been here. We began the night by going to the infamous piano bar to hear Noah sing. Wes and I decided to hang out with him that night, so we left the piano bar and went to Noah's house. Noah changed and all that, and I drank wine. haha! Well I think there was something else in the wine because I was set after the one glass. So I was having a great time as we walked to the tram. From there, we decided to go to a club called MT. It was interesting, to say the least. Oh, it was Wes, Noah, Me, and two of Noah's friends, Alex and Constantine. Ok, so we danced ALL night until 4:30 am or something. It was so fun. I drank another glass of wine. haha. I tasted Jaegermeister for the first time. It was gross. Eww! haha! Noah was hilarious...as you can see in the picture, he is a dancing machine. Right Noah!??! Oh wait, he didn't remember doing anything. 😊 So yeah, we left the club and walked 100 miles (or that is what if felt like) to the bahnhof where the guys ate Burger King. Ew..I watched. haha! By the time we were finished, it was after 5 am. We headed toward Königsplatz because the trams were fixing to begin running. I ended up getting home at 6 am. I had to get up at 7 to go to Erfurt. Needless to say, I didn't get very much sleep, a whole 45 minutes. haha! So we went to Erfurt. That was a waste of time. There were weddings going on all day at the church we went to Erfurt to see, so we only got to see the outside. I would show you, but I am in the library, so I can't upload photos. The photo of Noah was uploaded earlier. Anyway, we walked around IN THE COLD WITH LOTS OF WIND all day. To top is all off, there was a HUGE anti-capitalist demonstration going on, so that is pretty much anti-american. I was a little uncomfortable with the situation.
We left Erfurt late in the afternoon. When we got back to Kassel, Gloria and I went to buy a gift for out hostmother's birthday. We got her chocolate. haha! How UNoriginial. Anyway, we went home to freaking GOURMET dinner. It was amazingly wonderful! I showed about 15 people how to do jello shots "the American way." This is a good story. The family knew that I was excited that there were going to be jello shots, so when I got home, they were offering them to me. When I finally accepted, the mom handed me a spoon too. I was like, we don't use these in America. Let me show you how it's done. That was a mistake. The father took out the camera like it was a photo shoot. haha. It was funny! 😊
I went to sleep really early that night. Got up Sunday, went running, and worked on my essay. It is finished by the way. That night I went out to eat with Gloria and the other Italian girls. It was yummy. This week hasn't been very exciting. Tuesday night Wes and I went to Noah's to watch a movie. Other than that, I haven't doing anything. Tonight we're going to the piano bar and then dancing or something. Tomorrow, I leave!!! I get into Paris at 11:05 am on Saturday morning! I AM SOOOOO EXCITED about seeing Steven....I miss him soooo much! I miss all of you, naturally, but you know what I am saying. 😊
This is probably going to be my last blog unless I use the internet while I am in Paris. I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of you who are reading this blog while I am gone. I hope that everyone is having a FABULOUS summer, but not too much fun without me. Just Kidding! 😊 I can't wait to come home and personally share my experience. Reading the text online is nothing like hearing the stories and seeing ALL of the pictures. I have A LOT!!! So yeah, THANK YOU SO MUCH for keeping with my story these last seven weeks. There have been ups and downs, but this experience is one that is unimaginable. SUCH A BLAST!! This is the longest vacation that I have ever had, with a little work on the side. Ok, quite a bit of work, but it didn't seem like it. I am gonna miss every person who I met while I was here. My host family, thank you for the awesome food and the great times we had! Thanks French guys for being...well my French tutors these last few weeks. I have learned quite a bit of French, so I should be ok while there.
