Where East Berlin and West Berlin meet
Today we started off with a 2.5 hour walking tour with a tour guide arounf Berlin – it was not a usual tour where he took us to buildings and explained what they were, he took us to very random places like construction sites and the underground subway station and explained the history and what used to be where we were standing. We were taking to the carpark of an apartment building to be told we were standing where the bunker of Hitler used to be and where he commited suicide. After this Steve and I along with a few others were on a mission to find some Havianias (Mum – they are a brand of jandles/thongs/flip flops/slip slops/whatever you call them!) as both our jandles are broken and we both have sore feet... unfortunately we were rather unsuccessful in our mission but on the plus side we did do an awful lot of walking today... making even bigger cracks in my heels and pulling more muscles in my feet! LOL
We were bought back to the hostel at 4pm where we made a dinner date with our bus driver at the restaurant (Suprise, suprise Tim and Carla came too... Steve

and Tim seem to be inseperable! LOL it is kind of cute!). We ended up having 7 of us at dinner because we were joined by our tour leader and cook as well. Steve and I had pasta for dinner which was very delicious then I had a slice of the cook's pizza too!
Tonight most of us signed up to go on a pub crawl! The first 2 pubs were great fun... I even got a free Jagerbomb from the bar tender because I was helping him out... Score for the Dutch one! And when we got to the 3rd pub everything seemed to go downhill... unfortunately being together with the same people for 31 days finally caught up with some people and there were quite a few verbal attacks and arguments (I was not involved but I was helping sort it out... I hate confrontations!)
We ended up at a club across the road where Steve and I strategically snuck out with nobody noticing and went back to bed... we feel so old at times!
We have our biggest travel day tomorrow so we needed our sleep!
Until next time!
Xx
P.S... 5 days till Jodie turns 2!!!!
