Here are our photos from our 2nd visit to Germany. Just like our first visit, we loved it! Munich was beautiful and we could hardly believe that we were in a big famous city, because our campsite was situated in a tranquil riverside setting, which was only 15 minutes from the centre by Metro. The Neuschwanstein Castle was easily the highlight of our stay. It was simply incredible, and Alicia especially liked it because it reminded her of Disneyland!

It was raining when we arrived in Munich so we decided to rent a half caravan instead of pitching our tent.

We were suprised to see people in wet-suits walking past our campsite. Our geography is not great, but we were pretty sure that Munich was nowhere near the sea. Turns out that there was a bunch of people surfing in the river just by our campsite!

This was not good to see, as there was hard concrete ground not far below the water.

We saw a bunch of football supporters boarding a Metro train in Munich, so we followed them and ended up here.

The entire top tier was closed, because we saw 1860 Munich, not Bayern Munich.

Nuremberg's medievil district was almost entirely destroyed in the 2nd World War.
