well i made it. a short flight a metro, and a tram and im at the Tent camping grounds in munich. its a little cold here but otherwise nice. certainly better weather than england. im off now to find a bier garten and have somr kind of wurst. im pretty pumped to be here. this is one of those things like pamplona that ive always wanted to do.
the festival starts on saterday so i have a few days to figure things out before the mayhem starts. apparently there is some kind of drinking contest on friday called the 100 beers or something. it sounds like a great way to spend my birthday. its the big 30 and short of being home with my family, this seems like the best place to celebrate it.
