Matthew Garrett We woke early this morning, ate some breakfast, and headed for Munich. We drove to a local park and ride station and caught a ride into Munich. When we arose from the subway, all the major sights where there. First thing we did was climb St. Peter’s tower to take a look at the city from high above. We could even see the outline of the Alps. Once we reached the bottom, we headed over to the Munich open-air market and sampled cheeses, bread and bought some lunch. The major sights we saw were the Hoffbra, Munich beer garden, and some neat old buildings. We then headed for the English Garden Park. The park was nice; it had many trees and streams. People were playing soccer, Frisbee and lying around. Some people were even lying around naked! We laid around for a while then headed for the train station. We caught a train for the Olympic Stadium. We toured the stadium and visited the BMW museum. After seeing all the sights we headed back to the house for the night.
