These pictures are from the Saturday excursion to Heidelberg. The drive was around 1 ½ to 2 hours from Horb. It was really beautiful. I took a ton of pictures. It seems like a relaxing place to spend a day at on the weekend.

This is the view of the castle when you reach first walk up to it. You have to walk uphill for awhile to get to this point. The castle was so huge that I couldn't even fit this one tower in one photo

This is a view of Heidelberg from the top of the church tower. There is a very narrow spiral staircase that goes to the top of the tower. The ceiling is so low at some parts that you have to duck so you don't hit your head! But the long and tiring climb to the top is well worth the AMAZING view!!

It was such a long climb to get to the top of this tower but it was definately worth the view. The staircase up was so tiny and narrow, the whole time I was afraid that I'd hit my head. Everyone was dizzy and out of breath by the time the reached the top. But like I said, the view was definately worth the climb!
