After a lazy start to our morning we headed off to the local farmers market. It was quite small and nothing much interested us. We looked at the seafood but the barbecue at our exchange home is questionable!!!
We checked out three different coffee/bakery shops before finding one open. This country is crazy with when they open and close their shops. We enjoyed a yummy pastry and coffee before loading up on groceries at a local market that was open. It is a long weekend here this weekend so unsure what will be open for the next three days!
In the late afternoon Jim and Sonya headed into the local town to get haircuts. We still don't get it, as this afternoon hair salons are open, but everything else is closed! In the evening we wandered through our neighbourhood. It has a 12th century church and some lovely old chateaux.
