The article above helps answer the question "How do familes interact in this country?". Yes this article is last minute, but it is better than nothing. The article talks about the country France over all from topics ranging from France's location to table manners. That is nice in all, but thats not we're worried about. For the family part it talks about familes' values that they have, and how familes realationships change when in public and private. It also talks a little bit about the meeting etiquette. <strong style="border-style: initial; border-color: initial; font-weight: bold; border-width: 0px; padding: 0px; margin: 0px;">

Some of the family values that the French have are that each member of the family has a certain duty like throwing out the trash. Familes in french usually are not large because they don't have many kids, however the parents take parenting very seriously. There were some different things that familes don't do in the U.S. like in France you can't use someone's last name unless you are family, very close friends,or you are invited to do so. Another thing is that the French are polite, but they are only themselves around family or close friends. How does this connect back to the question, well for one thing familes interact very differently from familes in the U.S. whether it be amog themselves is the only time they can be themselves,or when greeting one another with first names only if you are family or close friends.
