Friday 12 August

In dull weather which became brighter later we drove to Plage de Tonoan, a huge surf beach on the west coast. The waves were excellent and granddad and the boys built another large castle which was destroyed by the sea. Then we had some really good surfing. For supper we had a superb apple tart from the local boulangerie. Afterwards the boys played boule and then went to the disco with Fred and Edie, the children in the tent next to us.
