Up at 7am & down to docks for an 8.30 sailing. Good crossing & was 2nd off the boat & on the road by 11am. Made really good progress, quite cold & some snow still on the ground in small patches. A16 down to Grace where we stopped at the airie in the town centre. The town hall was called “Mairie”? Noisy until about 10pm when the clock tower chimed Frere Jacque, dorme vous & then stopped for the night - very appropriate!! Only ones there but quiet after thr hound of the Baskervilles stopped barking!
