We left Etretat, drove down the coast, through Le Harve, across the mouth of the Seine via the huge Pont de Normandie and into Honfleur where we are staying on its large campervan Aire.

The afternoon was spent visiting this lovely Norman town with its enclosed harbour called the Vieux Bassin surrounded by attractive slate covered buildings. We looked at the works of Eugene Boudin and other local artists and went round the timber church of St Catherine and its detached belfry built during the hundred years war.
