Okay- its history test time! How many of you know why the French city of Dieppe is so important to Canadians (I will give you a hint - it has to do with World War II)? Okay, times up! This area was historically where the fishermen lived, on the other side of the river from town.

on the fishermen’s homes were to hang up nets & store oars away from possible theft.
