Like so many others we love to travel and we love to sail so cruising makes a lot of sense. Janice has retired from Cornell as a business manager and Bob has retired from South Seneca school district as the high school principal. It's time to sell the house, get rid of whatever doesn't fit on our 40 foot Caliber LRC named Tsamaya (this means Travel Well in Setswana) and set off to see the world. Modern Architecture

Just like everywhere there is a mix of modern with the old.

Tall & Narrow

Buildings are tall and narrow such as these on the street next to the marina.

In the Historic Part of Town

This area was historically where the fishermen lived, on the other side of the river from town.

Reminder of Yesteryear - Brackets

on the fishermen’s homes were to hang up nets & store oars away from possible theft.

Only Remaining Town Gate

This is the only remaining town gate out of 7 originally built in the 15th century.
