Diane, Michel, Caroline & Dawn ready to have lunch Decided that today would be a good day to do some entertaining so instead of going out to lunch with Dawn, Michel & Diane as planned, we headed to the local shops & supermarket and purchased lots of tasty items to have on the terrace of the apartment. There appears to be no end of beautiful sunny days at the moment so it was the perfect thing to do!
After a long, relaxing lunch we headed into the Centre Historique. Michel deals in old books and we were anxious for him to have a look at an interesting book & antique place we’d discovered in a corner of the old square. Michel thought the owner had a very impressive stock of books, antiques, posters & paintings & he recalled seeing her at some of the book fairs he has attended. I couldn’t resist one book called “Cédric - Papa a de la Classe” in a comic book style, and another for Adrian (title to be revealed when we get home!). We wandered around the old town until it was time to bid farewell to our “vieux potes” (old mates) who were returning to Orange for the evening before

16th Century door in the Centre Historique damaged during the French Revolution their trip back to Castres tomorrow. À bientôt!
