August 20-21, 2006

The last couple of days have just been spent relaxing around Limoux. A typical day goes like this:
* Sleep in
* Blog a little (or a lot)
* Wander over to square side cafe for lunch (wine, cheese, crepes) and people watching
* Amble around town
* Stop at the Patisserie (local pastry shop) for sweets and daily humility check of French language abilities
* Go somewhere local with Simone (after work)

On Sunday night we went to a little nearby town called Mirepoix (pronounced meer-pwah). Last night we rejoined some of Simone's gracious friends who invited us for a picnic at a lake (laq) in Arques (pronounced arc). Just a few pics this time.

Well, the clock is ticking...only four more days before my flight back on Saturday. Once I get moving this morning I'm planning to wander the French countryside toward the Pyrenees. I may not have Internet access for a few days, so blogging may be sparse, or non-existant.

Be well.
