Hi all, just wanted to share with all you flower lovers the most beautiful experience ever !!!!
Fields of French lavender we sighted overlooking ....Sur la Pont Avignon la la la la la and surounding the 11th century Abbey of Senaque and then just driving along through the countryside.... often with a castle or Chateau in the distance, ....just sooo romantic !!!!
And the perfume was hynotique!!!
We had to pinch ourselves sometimes .. or was that when Ian pinched me, whatever !!!

And then on our drive to Conques we passed by our first of many fields of sunflowers ...in full bloom... such a sight to see, I just wantd to share with you all.... the joy!!
Sunflowers are always such a happy flower, like daisies but just so much brighter and bigger, they can´t help but make you happy.

Love and hugs to you all from Le Bald et La Blonde XXXXX

Magnifique... wonderful photos and very descriptive travel notes - makes us feel like we're there, or is that just wishful thinking. Oh yes that's right we're in cold, rainy Perth nursing colds in front of the fire and weekend TV..... yawn, sneeze, cough!!!!

Tres bon
Dear Corrie and Ian Loving the blog and can imagine the two of you having such a great time together. The sun-flowers reminded me of our trip through Europe - they make me smile, too. John, Sophie and Finn left on Saturday and the house is so quiet. He is the dearest wee boy - so happy and full of smiles. Look after yourselves. Much love Sue xxx
