More hills & really strong winds. Got a bit hairy at times but made it to Dover in time for the ferry. Got lost a few times but thanks to Paul's smart phone we found our way. Ferry crossing was choppy but eneventful. Stayed in a lovely place in Ardres - Le Manoir - and enjoyed a few beers and a good meal in the evening. Legs starting to feel it! 60 miles to look forward to tomorrow.

The challenge The aim for the intrepid team is to cycle from Ashtead pond in Surrey to Lake Annecy in the French Alps, a distance of around 600 miles. The leaving date is Sunday 1st May 2011 and we hope to arrive on Wednesday 11th May, returning home by train (after some well earned beers) on Saturday 14th.
