Another tour around the smaller village, starting off at Pennautier. We visited the Château- not open but walked around the grounds. Attached is a boutique selling wines produced on the estates.

On then to Aragon it unable to access - Route Barre - we think the many of the roads in this area were being repaired after the devastating winter flooding. The view of the village from the hill was picturesque, quite like Tuscany !

We travelled onto Saissac where we had lunch - Madame Said we had to be quick as she had a dental appointment at 2pm. However, as usual the food was excellent. Then walked down to the castle, it was first recorded in 958 AD. Ruins of course, but interesting.

Then back to pack up as tomorrow we head up to Cahors.
