We left Homps this morning and spent a long time at the first lock waiting for our turn so we only made it into Argens-Minervois just before lunchtime. As the next lock wouldn’t open for a while, we stopped and had a walk around the town, before returning to the boat for lunch. Locks
I never realised you would have to go through so many locks. I've been a number of times in houseboats on the Murray River and there were certainly locks but boy, you seem to be constantly in them. What is the mileage between locks? I thought you would meander along the cNals with the odd lick here or there. The countryside seems beautiful and I would love visiting the small villages. Do you return the same way or is it a circuitous trip? xxx

Me too. We have a long stretch now without locks. It is not the relaxing holiday I thought it would be and is quite physically demanding. We finish Friday morning. Xo
