First Night in Paris

Well after the time change we basically lost our 8 hours of sleep on April 8th so we were pretty tired. We found our new apartment alright and by 3pm we had unpacked and decided to go for a small walk around the neighbourhood before dinner. Our dinner reservation was for 6pm at Chez Justine but we were so tired that as we passed by the restaurant we stopped in to change it to 4:30. We stopped at a few grocery stores, some patisserie shops and looked in the window of other interesting stores, Ed and Bev stopped to identify birds. We figured it must be close to 4:30 so we headed back to the restaurant, we got there at 4pm and decided that we were too tired to trek back to the apartment (up 6 flights) and then come back to the restraint so we had a really early dinner. It was a great dinner Mike & Ed had duck confit, Bev & I had the ribs. After desert, pistachio creme brûlée, rice pudding and an apple tart a la mode, Mike and Ed headed back to the apartment, Bev and I headed to the grocery store to pick up some things to make breakfast tomorrow morning.

Mike was asleep by the time Bev and I got back to the apartment. Ed let us in and then crashed as well. Bev and I made up the couch into our bed, changed into our PJs, had a cup of tea, and are calling 8pm bedtime.
