Today is the warmest day we have had in England it was 22 degrees by the time we got up had breakfast packed and found a laundrette and got all our washing done, yay I was running out of smalls

We headed off with an hour up our sleeve to catch the Chunnel, well that hour was soaked up pretty quick in the great London traffic jams, couldn't believe it...why is this stupid GPS not taking us straight to a motorway?

Anyway I was able to change our tickets so all is good in the car again, we arrived in time to grab bite to eat for lunch, drove the car on and all of a sudden 35 mins later and bam....we are getting off in France, and on the wrong side of the road and we have lost an hour aargh, at least now I'm no longer in the middle of the road and now everything is in metric and best of all it is 30 degrees. We turned off to get petrol and had to cope with our first back to front roundabout, weird

After a few hours of beautiful French countryside travelling at a pleasant 130km we arrived with only 10km to go well that was the most stressful 10km, the driving is crazy.".@&$(//😉&

There are so many bikes and they dive in and out of traffic I don't know why they have lanes or lights because you can't see either of them and everyone just does what they like, we nearly got hit three times, mal even blasted the horn at some taxi driver ( he doesn't normally do that ) got stuck in the horrendous traffic jams, and we thought the first roundabout was scary well try it when there are multiple people coming at all angles, no lanes and no rules. Most roundabouts in the city we have noticed have about 8-9 entries and exits and everyone just piles in and you get pushed into the middle. Whatever you do don't go into the middle!!

9 out of 10 cars we saw had dents and dings, it's like bump and go, I'm gla we are not driving round here very much, we arrived at the hotel thank goodness, took our huge amount of luggage into our very small room and then went for a wander around, I thought you would see the Eiffel Tower from everywhere, but no.... we didn't really see anything home by 11pm and again the magic unpacking fairy went to work while the others slept
