We decided to sleep in a little later today, since the weather was looking crummy. After an interesting French showers, we made our way to breakfast. Right away we were greeted in French and then in English when the staff saw our confusion. Kris was enamored by this duckling. His mom was just swimming around the pond while this guy just hung out on the board.

This "little" arc is about half the size of the l'Étoile. This one was to commemorate Napolean's victories of 1806. It's one of the many triumphal arc's all over Europe.

The intricacy of the cathedral's exterior is insane. The height of the doors is pretty nuts, too.

From some points around the cathedral it's almost hard to distinguish the front!

Though we didn't go in, we passed by here on the way back to the hotel. I don't care a whole lot for paintings and such, but can certainly appreciate the architecture.

This is one of the few times that Rue Cler isn't packed. Rick Steves made this street famous for tourists, but locals are the ones that keep it hopping. The buyers shop a lot more frequently since few have cars. Also, it helps everything stay fresh.
