The city of Paris

We got up this morning and decided that we should search out this Eiffel Tower, we got two blocks and I found a discount clothes shop and shoe shop oops, decided to go on the metro which we figure is the same as the underground just in a different language...easy. Arrived at the louvre which is not only the museum but has a mall attached so we thought we better get some food. Sat next to two ladies from Australia and chatted with them for about two hours, decided to get on the hop on hop off to see the city, did nearly a whole loop then jumped off to catch another line and sat beside a Canadian couple so chatted to them for another hour oops not actually doing much except chatting, Mal doesn't like heights so we didn't go up the Eiffel tower but we did see it close up and all the thousands of people waiting to go up, some guy said they make 50,000 EUR per day in takings at the Eiffel tower alone, we booked a ticket to go up the next tallest building Montparnasse Tower we had some lunch/dinner or lunner as Lexie likes to call it. Went up the tower at 6.30 and got a 360 view of Paris. Walked to the boat ramp 35 mins and got our tickets for the seine river boat cruise. We looked around for a couple of hours, brought a couple of things, Lexie found a street vendor making crepes and guess what....they have Nutella as a filling she is over the moon and I'm sure this will now be the dessert of choice. We went on the 10pm cruise to see Paris at night...wow stunning... It is lit up everywhere so pretty and yes romantic, lots of people though so it misses that alone romantic. We caught two trains back to our hotel and collapsed on our beds
