Today we decided to brave the cold and head into Paris to explore. Our first stop was the Eiffel tower. It was very beautiful but sooo crowded. The line to buy a ticket was about 2 hours and then the line to use that ticket was another hour. If you wanted to brave the wind and take the stairs then it was only 4.50 but that line was almost 45 mins to just buy the ticket.. needless to say we just walked around a bit, enjoyed the beauty of it all and decided to head off to higher ground to take some more pictures.

After we were done with that we were a little hungry and had to find a water closet so decided to stop in a random Paris cafe for a beer and crepes..

Once that yummy meal was done we headed over to the Louvre by the metro. We purchased our tickets and decided to do a quick walk around to see the important stuff first ie (Mona Lisa, Venus de millo etc) and then walk randomly after that until we had enough of the people and the art for one day. It was a great experience say that we were there and got to experience all those things together. Jared still says that Kaitlin has a much more enigmatic and beautiful smile.. hehe

After all of the touristy stuff stopped for dinner together in another Paris Cafe, Kaitlin had a goat cheese salad and Jared ordered a Special Cheeseburger with French Fries.. yum. We then decided to head out and find a market to buy some food for dinner and breakfast the next day instead of buying out as we are starting to get sick of it.. lol

Not sure what we are going to do tomorrow.. Think we may just take it easy as it has been nothing but go go go since we got here and Kaitlin has started to come down with a sore throat.. 😞. We also have some laundry to do and we may head back out to the Eiffel tower in the evening to see lit up at night where apparently it is even more beautiful..

To all those celebrating Thanksgiving at home.. Happy gobble gobble day and we wish we could be joining you guys and we definitely miss all of our family. 😊

btw.. new video uploaded to the mountain blog.. 😊
