Today is Jrod's birthday! Yay for him, and yes Mike, I sang him happy birthday from you guys.

For some odd reason he planned our longest travel day {10 hours} on this birthday, hmmm.

Anyway, we woke up and caught a number of trains to get to wonderful paris, and we love the place we are staying.

Let me tell you, the subway aka metro is super easy to read and follow...NOT! holy cow its confusing, but we made it and went to a french japanese restaurant to celebrate Jared's birthday. We will have a french pastry or some such treat tomorrow when the bakery's are open, as we didnt get here until 8 pm.
