For those of you who like the Da Vinci Code, the upside down pyramid (from the bottom)
Well this is the first time that I have done one of these things by my self, normally I just watch Robyn type and give her my input but now here I am all on my own, so here it goes....

As I am sure you have already read from the previous entry today started with a trip to the laundry mat. Luckly it was just up the road so we didn't have far to go, and yes I was going commando. Now we had to figure out how to work the damn things..... Each place has been different, for this one we fed our money in to one centeral machine and then pressed the button for the washer/dryer that we wanted to use. Even the soap despencer had is't button! and then the waiting..... reading the book...... playing cards....... and then fresh clean laundry. Yay!!!! Getting back and getting in to those clean undies was great, Robyn like it too, I don't think that she enjoyed wearing her bathing suit bottoms...... Got everything put away and then we were off for the day.
First stop, the train station where we got our next few trains sorted out. There were

a few tense moments where Robyn almost had a heart attack and just about had to pay 95 Euros for a pass through Switzerland, but that crises was adverted by a friendly lady behind a counter. We got our reservations both to Dijon and from Dijon to LaSpezia, alot easier than the first guy we saw. So feeling good with our selves we went to the Louvre to eat lunch out front of the piramid.
The day was perfect for the picnic and for a walk. We went down to the shoping center under the Louvre to check out the lines and prices for the Louvre. While I was checking out the maps I saw a sign giving the prices and in small print I saw that people under 26 are free on Fri after 6pm. What an awsome thing to see. So we had a few houres to kill, so what. We decided to go for a walk down to Champs Ellyesse and check out the shoping along the street. Found some patches that were possable for us to add to our collection but we wanted to keep out options open and so continued. On the way back to

Yummy lunch infront on the fountain
the Louvre we walked through the Jardin Des Tuileries, the park in front of the Louvre, and stoped by a huge fountain and sat there in the chairs that were provided. After sitting there admiring the calm fountain we went in to the Louvre for free! Checked out the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, the old Louvre, and the Egyption hall, thourghly enjoying it all. By that time we were getting hungry and tired so back to the hostel we go, but first a stop for food. We ended up getting on the wrong platform for the metro so we went to get on the right one, but forgot that we would not be able to get back on the platform because of the fact that we just used our metro passes. Things got a bit harry for a bit, but then we headed to the next stop down the road and everything was just fine. We even got on a better train and went directly to our stop.
Off to the grocery store for dinner. Boy was dinner good, we had potatoes nooked in the microwave with sour cream (We think that what we got was sour cream) and

cheese and sliced up ham and we even had a salad for a starter. Yum!!
Then it was off to check our e-mail, chatt to people, and do the blog. Hope that I didn't bore you all, Robyn says that I am long winded, but I didn't want to disappoint you wit a short one from me. So I guess that I should let Robyn check it out and see if I missed anything, but for now I hope to be adding more pictures soon and hope that things are going well for you all. It is getting late and some sleep is sounding good right now. Off to see the town tomorrow. Ciao

love the new writer
Hey, you lucky bums , getting into the Louvre for free. Way to go. So we are loving your blogs, Robyn, and actually are taking them very much for granted that we will always get an update when I open the computer. But now the celebrity writer has come on the scene...welllll we are expecting more Monsuier Daniel. You both have superb but different styles a great combination. Thanks guys.
