The Armenian Church
It is located in a nice part of Paris Day 10, Sunday May 14, 2006 We woke up and headed down to breakfast as we almost missed it. Had some breakfast. i didnt eat much still full from the night before. got ready, packed. brought the suit cases downstairs. took 2 taxis to the Armenian church in Paris. To see the church and it was set as a meeting place for friends and relatives to meet up with us. We went into the church lit candles did all the of the Churchly stuff one does at place of religion. walked out side and waited for people we had arranged times with. While out side i sat down since my legs were hurting from the Adventure of walking for hours and hours on Friday. At my eye level i saw the shoes. They deserved a photo, for the fashion fopa that they are. The picture is somewhere on this page you can't miss it. We met up with everyone we had set up times with and walked a few blocks towards the Seine river and the Komidas Statue. Which was created in memory of the Armenian Genocide. To honor the 1.5 million Armenians that were massacred by
Its the shoes
I just had to take a picture of these the Turkish Goverment, who still denies it to this day. We took pictures in front of it.
After we were done admiring it we walked back toward Champs-Elysees.
I think i have seen enough of Champs-Elysees for a life time. We sat down at a cafe had some sandwiches, and Coke but this time the Coke was included in the meal which was a total of 6 Euros per person. Instead Of 6 Euros for just a Coke!!!!!!
We sat down ate talked, chatted, slept with our eyes open, watched the scenery, and eventually got up parted ways. While walking to the bus station I saw a crepes, so of course its porbably one of the only things i like that is French other than cheese and some designers. I had to have another one. Took picture of them making the pancake for the crepe. And then Ojik took a picture of me eating the crepe. Yes it tasted as good as the photo makes it look.
We headed to the bus, the right bus and then back to the Hotel, sat around for a while, played cards, talked. Laughed quite a bit.

Komitas
In Honor of the 1.5 Million Armenian Massacred by the Turkish Government in 1915 called the Taxi and were off to the station. The Paris Adventure was over, Or so we thought. We got to the Rail Station and it was a mad house. the line was extremely long for the Euro Rail. WE took the elevator to the second floor. Ungh. Hasmig was travelling with us and she uses a cane. So the little light which sometimes lights up in my head was burning a lot of fuel. I went into the service desk and told them that a women was travelling with us, would need wheel chair support. The Supervisor agreed to allow us all in so we wouldnt have to wait in long line. They finally came and got us. But the guy with the Wheel chair said only one person can go in with the wheel chair. We let Zepyur go. Leaving Ojik, Ovsik, Hykoohi and myself in the long line. We found out the train services were delayed because there was a fire near Waterlook station in London. We called London no one had heard anything. None of the news agencies were reporting on it. Strange!!
We finally got to the front of the line and they decided
Ayp, Pen,Kim...
The Armenian Alphabet in Stone that they were putting us on all on one train. As much as the train would fill. So they changedd our seats we lost our table. We told them that 2 of our party was already on the train. and we wanted to sit together. So caused a comotion they changed our seats.
Next was Customs. The UK Customs agent looked at my passport and said "Why do you visit Armenia so many times?" My response because it is my homeland. He said but you are from America, I said yes but i am Armenian, I was born in the US. He gave me a look, where i responded and said You work in France, do you visit the UK? He said yes i do. I said well then you know what i mean. He started to laugh, and stamped my passport and we were off to the train. Got on the train put the bags in. We were in Car 17, Ungh Hasmig and Zepyur were in Car 14 I went up 3 cars to get them grabbed the bags and brought them to the car 17. We got all the bags settled and the train was under
With Komitas
In front of Komitas way. While on the train we were told, we were going to stop somewhere in Kent, and From there we would have to take local train or BUS!! Oh joy. But eventually the conductor announced that the path had been cleared.
We got to London, I asked Hubi if they heard anything of the fire, she said what fire? Maybe there was no fire. Eurorail was trying to conserve and stuff one whole train full. I would be a good Conspiracy theorist. But I am much of an optimist to be negative and paranoid.
Back in London, to where the people arent rude, where they hate Tony Blair more than the Americans. WE got home and turned on the TV to see if there was any news on this fire. Nothing, so we watched H1 (Armenian TV, Live from Armenia) found out about the political ordeals that were going there.
Went up to my room Knocked out. I have one day left in London and I intend to enjoy it to the fullest.
