Edit Blog Post

So its been a while since a real blog post so here's one to make up for it. Since you heard from us last we were leaving Bern for Paris. We made our way by train on Thursday and got into Paris in the afternoon, headed to our hostel then to try and find something to eat. Lets say we were spoiled in Italy. Most restaurants here are open 12-3 then close until 7 for dinner. So our first meal in P... Read Full Entry

we took a picture of Mona Lisa
Dear Meg and Chris, when we were there many moons ago we took a picture of the Mona Lisa but we could not use a flash. The pctures are great and I agree the elevator was quite clautrophobic at the Eifel Tower! We loved Europe! Love Aunt Jan

Once again I tell you...
...I could have come and carried your bags. I am so very jealous. I think that while Meg may have had a previous life in Italy, yours was in France, Chris. You just seem so comfortable with the language and the art. And can you believe it that here at 10 pm in Sault Ste. Marie and feeling lonely, the only one of "my kids" I could talk to was Meg in France. I was determined to reach out and talk to someone and it was really quite easy...so glad that there was someone at the hostel who picked up the phone this time. So if you need me to come to Scotland and help out in any way, just say the word...I will be there. Love ya!!

your poor feet.
Hi Meg and Chris, I'm Bobby a friend of Mom Sue's and I'm glad your having such a great time but by the time you get to England and Scotland you will definitely be too tired to carry your own bags and since there are two of you I would be glad to escort Mom Sue over and help carry those bags. I already have my passport just say the word and MOM's on a Mission will arrive. LOL Enjoy your trip, I've enjoyed reading about it. Bobby

Lovely description Chris. Hope you and the girls are having a good time. How could you not?? We are enjoying a snow day here in Callander. Oh yes, and a laundry day too.

The tour
Hi Guys Thanks for the great written and pictoral tour. The Louvre looks very cool. It sounds like my kind of touring, with very regular dining stops. I know that neither of you would miss trying escargot in Paris, so let me know what you think of them when you have them. Love Dad

It's winter
I'm sitting at my desk with the first real blizzard of winter happening here. I keep gazing at the photo of the Mona Lisa and I can drift away for awhile. You're really giving me the travel bug. In the meantime I just keep travelling with you. See you guys soon. Roberta
