Bon jour from Paris

Well after all the waiting, flapping, tears and goodbyes, we made it on to the Eurostar from St Pancras to Paris. We found our hotel easily and then went out for a wander around Paris.
We´ve managed to fit in all the sights in just over 24hrs, Lucy agrees with a recent poll, the Eiffel tower being voted the most dissapointing site in the world.
Our last evening was spent sluggling le vin rouge avec léscargots and a very red steak in boullion chartier! Although Paris was nice, I felt I had to be on gaurd all the time, particularly in the busy pick pocket areas!
So au-revoir paris, we will meet again i´m sure
