The only way to get around when there are 180,000 lakes in the country! Geo: 65.892, 26.1061
Left camp at 6am this morning and slept and slept on the bus. Around lunchtime we crossed the border into Finland. Finland has 180,000 lakes!! Incredible!! Reindeer were crossing the road in front of us and running along the road and down the middle of the road- I could see some road kill about to happen. We are now back to Euro's. Slept more and more then we arrived at Santa Land! We were quite excited about this. First thing we did was get a group photo of us and Santa. He was really nice and chatty. He looked forward to seeing all of us in December and would know where to find us on the road. I did some Christmas shopping and bought some Finnish decorations. This town is the home of the worlds most northern McDonalds and the Artic Circle. Once we set up camp, it was time for some more Olympic activities. First one was to throw the frisbee, closest to the water bottle was the winner. Second was thong throwing, using your feet to see how far you can throw your thong. Third was egg throwing and catching, with fresh eggs throw, catch, set back
