Snow.
After the snow storm I played in the snow with Line-Kathrine my host sister for hours. So I have been here one month to date, and I am loving it. I have done so many things and learned so much its just insane and makes me wonder what is to come in the future. The snow has all gone now, even though jjst the other night we had crazy snow storms and the snow kept everyone in doors and unable to drive. I think I am going to miss the snow, it was my first time seeing it here in Denmark and now its all gone. I also made some more friends with exchange students. I know more then just Caroline. I met Alex (Australia) and Benn (New Zealand) at Holstebro language school and then Chandler (America), Sean (Australia), Issy (Australia), Eline (Belgium), Kaylee (Alaska) and a few others and it's been and made things a lot funner but it's also good to know people who are going through the same things as you are, and they're always good to talk to on the basis or how your personal exchange is going. Benn actually lives in Skave which is about 4km from my town so we have decided we will chill in the future.
The winter
Pre drinks.
Naja and I before we went out to a party. holidays were just a week back and well that was nice. I spent 3 days in Vejle with Caroline where we went swimming and around the town, we also did some shopping and I also managed to not hurt myself ice-skating. Im not so good at it but it was fun, before we headed for the train and back to Holstebro but this time bringing Caro with me. While in Holstebro we got a sense of the life style difference, with Caro living in the city here in Denmark and from the country back home and me living out on a farm here in Denmark and living in the city in Australia. While in Borbjerg Caro and I did more family things like play card games and just spend time in side as there isn't too much you can do out on a farm when its dark outside at 5 o'clock. The next day though we did go with the family to Baboon City, which is pretty much an indoor games amusement park I guess you could call it. We spent the whole day there before being tired and needing to go home. The holidays were over befoer we knew
Thomas og Megan.
Vi skal spise slik og chips. it and it was back to skole.
I have also been to a fair few parties here in Denmark. Danish people love to party and definitely out drink me. But I find that parties I tend to learn Danish rather well but also make lots of friends of which go to m skole and makes it easier for them to say Hi to me at skole because they were simply drunk and spoke to me at the party and don't want to be rude at skole. Apparently going home at 2-3 am is very early for danish people. I cannot believe they stay out till 5 or 6 in the morning. It's insane!!!!
Hmmm... What else have I done,,, There i simply too much to remember. I spent a weekend with my oldest host brother Thomas, he is 18 but we both act about 8 years old when we are together. We had a movie weekend from Friday night till Sunday night watching many chick flicks and action films (yeah dad I made Thomas watch chick flicks just like I make you hehe) and ate many different kinds of danish lollies and chips and acted like little kids.
I tried chips with dip here too, I thought it was weird at first but bbq chips dipped in Holiday dip is rather nice, and I will definitely be taking that one home with me to Australia.
I have also been to a danish funeral. Although I didn't know the person it was still a sad time but also very nteresting to see how the funeral went, and may i say it is very different to Australian ones.
So pretty much in my first month I did Copenhagen, strated language school, made friends, started normal school, attended a funeral and partied. I think I am doing rather well. I will be amazing and probably a crazy outrages person when I return home but it's all fun.
Vi ses.
