yumyumyum

i like chocolate!!!
so last weekend, we travelled 16 hours each way....by two trains, a ferry, and another train, before arriving in cosy denmark, where the sun was shining....people were actually smiling....and everyone spoke english!
the ferry trip over was awefully fun. we had booked for a 'cabin' for the way over, as it was a 10hr night trip, n we needed sleep, so we had asked for the cheapest cabin, and somehow that had translated to first class....so we got an onboard apartment, with ensuite, couches, and two very comfortable beds. we spend most the night however, in one of the four onboard bars, drinking special cocktails that the bar tender kindly kept making for us, n smoking cigars, as we felt very classy being there. the ferry was also empty as hell, which gave us the bar all to ourselves. we arrived on Kopenhagen at 8am, n had four hours to kill before our next train which woud take us to Arhus, so we set into the heart of Kopenhagen, and, unbelievably managed to get ourselves to the royal palace in time for the changing of the guards. this was cool, it just dragged on too long. me and marina though, found

it amusing comentating the whole event with smart ass comments. one of the policemen was also chasing a pigeon, so kept us amused there too. we then left, to make our way back to the train station, n stopped alond the way for a traditional danish bagel...very yum!!!
we finally got to the train station with 20 minutes to spare, and caught our train to the final leg of our journey-Arhus. Josh met us at the station there, where we stopped at a supermarket on the way back to his, n bought pasta to cook later on for dinner. we stayed with josh at his apartment-his housemates are a older couple, one a doctor, the other a lawer...i think....so as you can imagine...the apartment was quite nice. we cooked dinner, had a few drinks, and went out to a local pub for another drink. it also happened to be , apprently , the 2nd biggest day in denmark....the release of the xmas beer. it gets released at 8:59 on the 2nd of nov every year. trucks drive around all day, playing jingle bells, and handing out free beer, so of course we had to try it at the pub-it was

nice enough😊
saturday morning, after my 'interesting attemt' at making scrambled eggs, which josh refused to eat, we headed out into the city, to the Aros museum. it was really cool. there was a special exhibition by this japanese lady, Mariko Mari(?). she was similar to Bjork...very strange, but in a cool way. except it was very spiritual, with alot of 'release your inner....whatever', and 'take me to heaven'. there is also this very cool statue thing there. its a very life like boy crouching on the floor, yet its about 8-10 metres tall. its soo real though, it even had scars and bruises and everything else a body has........cool!
we spent nearly the whole day there, so was pretty exhausted, so got pizza, more xmas beer, n went back to josh's to watch movies while we waited for our train to go back home. we also found baked beans at the shops, which i just happened to be craving at the time😊
so back on the train at 2 in the morning to Kopenhagen, then wait for 4 hours, for our ferry at 10am, then back over the blue blue sea. it was a day ferry trip this time,

everyone rides bikes in denmark
so we didnt have a bed or cabin, and we still hadnt had any sleep, so we found a chair, n tried to crash but couldnt, so we ate instead!
back on the polish coast on the other side, we found a hotel for the night...i got to watch prison break...although very disappointed as its dubbed over here....and then we crashed. train the next morning back to Poznan, n we were back once more in our little village, where life was still continuing!
we were also very surprised how we managed to go by ourselves all the way to denmark n back, with 4 different connections....n not manage to get losted once...not even put a step in the wrong direction, yet everytime we go into poznan,....we manage to loss ourselves....hmmmmm
