Praha (Prague)

We left Bitburg, Germany very early on Thursday and drove to Nürnberg, where we turned in our rental car and got on a bus to Praha. The bus ride took about 3 1/2 hours. We found Jennifer, who was in Prague as part of her Cold War history tour, and took her out for dinner. We stayed at the Hotel General, which was nice, but it was quite a walk from the old town, so we took a lot of Uber rides back and forth. On Friday, we saw the Pražsky Hrad castle complex, Strahove Monastery, Wenceslas square, Charles Bridge, old town, and the town square with the astronomical clock. We could have spent several more days there - Prague is a beautiful city with so much to see.
