My memory of Prague (not been there) is August 20, 1968 when the Soviet Union and Warsaw Pact countries invaded Czechoslovakia as it was called at the time. hey young man named Jan Palach burned himself to death in Wenceslas square to protest the invasion. Alexander Dubcek of the Prague spring was deposed by the Russians. I spent the next day, my birthday, listening to the Voice of America which covered it thoroughly. That's a birthday I will never forget. Continue having fun and absorbing it all.
