Today was a very low-key day. I slept in (wonderful), woke up, goofed off on the internet, went back to bed, and then embraced the day at about noon. The four of us went to a pizza place that took Euros (we still had some leftover from yesterday). Next we went to an open-air market in Old Town. I loved it there. There was so much stuff to look at and buy, I definitely did some impulse buying there.
After shopping we went back to the dorms. I took an inventory of all the souvenirs I bought. Let's just say I bought a whole lot of stuff. We actually took a picture of everything spread out on my bed. (I'd post it but I don't want to ruin anyone's Christmas presents!)
After I figured out exactly what I had, I began the long process of packing. I bought a lot of breakable things that had to be wrapped up...let's just say that we will be seeing a lot of Czech toilet paper this Christmas! There's no doubt that I'll have plenty of room in my suitcase.
We were pretty low key for the rest of the day. We watched a movie on my laptop this evening, which was nice and relaxing.
Tomorrow we were planning to see the Charles Bridge at sunrise, but there is a 110% chance of rain. I don't even really know what that means, but it doesn't sound like we'll be able to see much sunrise. I think we are going to do a little more shopping, a little more packing, and then get a good night's sleep before heading home the next morning!
