I arrived in prague pretty early in the morning, about half past nine and was met promptly by yusuf at the station. the flight over was uneventful really. i slept for most of it, i reckon. easyjet flies tiny planes and you can hear, smell and see everyone sat around you. i began to read, 'a storm from the east,' a book about the monghul empire. i read up to the point where genghis khan was called temuchin and had fled his tribal home following his fathers death by poisioning. i think it was the tanguts who killed him but i cant remember. there were two male stewards on the flight. not that i have a problem with that, i just didnt agree with him making sure my belt done up when id just shown it was so.
there were no problems with passport control, baggage or with the customs officers. i was worried i would be stopped but thankfully this was not the case. having met yusuf, we took the tube to praha (prague) station and after putting my bag into a locker we decided to go for a wander. it was only about 10am but being as we were both so hungry we ate the pizza provided for us by mother mirza. it tasted just as good cold as it did hot!
and so the day began...
