The ruins are quite well preserved, and date back to 400 BC.

There are already major parts missing, it used to fit 15000 people.

drop off at the bus stop Solin (direction from Trogir TO Split), cross the street and look for this road sign. Right next to it there is a small path through an allotment garden site. If you follow that path you will end up right at the southern end of the ruin site.

It is very crowded during peak season (the picture was taken rather early in the morning). The slope of the road in the back was also very remarkable.

We tried to be extremely careful when we entered the water, because we did not want to "kill" any plants on the rocks. Actually we only had one spot to enter, where pebbles covered the ground.
