Another amazing adventure in Split. We explored Diocletian's Place for most of the day. You'll see from the pictures how beautiful it was here. We had a private tour with Nives, a local historian, and learned so much about Split's history and the many powers that ruled here over the centuries. A very young, free country. The wounds of the recent war in the years of 1991-1995, still are fresh with the locals but Split has become a very prosperous and thriving tourist destination for many other counties. I hope you all had a chance to enjoy the men's acapella quintet Ted posted on Facebook. I'm looking into getting a Vimeo account so I can post the link here as well. They were amazing! Enjoy the pics and we're off to the cruise in the morning!
Laku noć! (Good night in Croatian)
