I love to travel. Until now, family responsibilities have limited this, but with the kids finishing up college the opportunity for travel is opening up. So far, Linda and I have explored the Western United States, the Ycatan in Mexico, London, Northern Italy and Venice, Croatia, Athens and various Greek Islands. Linda has been to Scottland, France, Netherlands, and Germany. I have spent a great deal of time in Guatemala. I teach at a Middle School about 25 miles from the Twin Cities in Minnesota, USA. Medevial Streets in Split

We walked up narrow medevial-like streets from the Promonade area at the harbour into the hills where there is a botanical garden. ...Great views of the Adriatic along the garden trails.

I'd highly recommend the walk to the botanical garden near Split. Take a picnic!
