Steve drinking from the local drinking fountain.
It was a nice sleep in this morning!!!! Steve and I ended up cooking breakfast for everyone (eggs and sausages with a bit of help from the cook... you would think it would be the other way round but somebdy wasn't feeling too well!)
Today was a free day so after breakfast we did some washing – we handwashed an entire load of washing because we Dutchy and Scottishman refused to pay the equivalent of $15 NZD for 1 load of washing. After our bonding session of washing clothes we Skyped our families (finally managed to have a good connection).
By lunchtime we made it to the bus stop to go into Dubrovnik. We looked around the shops and then went and had lunch (Me- Pizza and Steve- pasta). At 2.00pm – the hottest part of the day – we walked around the wall that surrounds Dubrovnik. It was just over 2 km but took a while because there were a lot of stiars (have I mentioned lately how much I love stairs!!!!!) and it was quite warm. The views were well worth it though! It is really cool how all the houses are the same colouring... cream walls and terricotta

coloured roofs.
After that we went back to camp and Steve went to the beach... he wore his togs this time!
We went out for tea with Tim and Carla again then stayed around camp and had a quiet night.
Lots of hugs and kisses (especially for Jodie!)
