So its all really surreal that I leave to travel the world with my crazy sister Lindsey on Monday morning. Its almost as if im just popping to London for a weekend. But no here I am sat with my travel blow up pillow around my neck for one of the last times in my amazing double bed, with crumbs in and the duvet back to front and my cat laid next to me purring with the constant sound of the merton swimming pool generator next door. Im writing what will be my first blog entry, yet my last home entry I know in a few days il be sweating one out half way across the world. This is my home the Island of Jersey which took a really long time to explain to people when travelling as the conversation would go like this, "I live in Jersey" "no its not New Jersey its an Island, no not Ireland, off the coast of France but part of Great Britain but not part of the EU" and so on and so forth, anyway here's a little bit about the place I live and am proud to call my home. 1 Day 00:23:17 Until OzBus May 2008 Well if I aint ready now I never will!!! I think I have packed everything but the kitchen sink and even then I might try and fit that in my back pack in the mornin!!! So I am feeling nervous but excited at the same time... Have met a few fellow ozbusers on Facebook so its not goin to be as bad as turnin up not knowing anyone. Some of us are meeting for pre-bus drinks 2morrow eve which will be good, break the ice etc!
