On to Belgium today. Funny to be going to different countries after just a few hours sailing!! Had to go through 2 locks and opening bridges before we got into the marina here, but once in, we’re right in the middle of town. A lovely little town. Funny as there’s a beautiful church...with a show ride right in front. There is like show rides and sidestalls down one side street off the main mall street. Found the best ice-cream place to date..I think..and that’s cause they got Belgian waffles!! Waffles, ice-cream and hot caramel sauce...hmm devine. Better not stay here too long!! Funnily it was at the “Australian Ice cream stand”. Only saw this after we got our ice cream. Oh no...we’re from Aust, I said..we wanted Belgian ice cream, not aussie stuff!! I was rest assured that Australian Ice cream is only the brand name ‘like nike’ and it is in fact Belgium Ice cream!! Oh, well, it is great ice cream!!
