Minsk ParkThis was once a cemetary but the Soviets came in and said it should be a park. So they dug up all the old graves and moved them elsewhere. So now we have a park here.

Minsk PizzaFor some reason, our local tour guide thought we'd be hungry for "American" food and found a restaurant that served pizza. The pizza was good and food is plentiful in Belarus.
But we wished to try Belarus foods, not American food!
KhatynThis is a memorial for the what was believed to be a Nazi atroscity, the massacre of several villages. It is now believed the massacre was committed by the Soviets.
